9-12 months (1st birthday)

What a milestone turning one! What better way to celebrate than with a cake smash session! These are best done at around 10-12 months old as they do not yet have food sensory issues and don't mind getting dirty - hopefully! Over 1 years and they can sometimes get very upset with the mess. Cake smashes are a great way to celebrate your little ones first birthday or if done early enough you can use the images for the 1st birthday invitations. This type of session takes around 1.5 hours and is usually done in a studio setting indoors, but depending on the time of year outdoor cake smash sessions can be an option. The base package for this type of photo shoot is $250 and includes the cake and 5 professionally edited digital images, other packages are available.
